Episode 68: Brown House

Just came back not long ago, shower, eat and here I am, not by choice.
This is why.. Usually when I switch on the computer, blogging is never the first thing that is on my mind.
Hmmm.. so what are the things that are on my mind? Let me try listing them down in order..
#1: Watch anime (If there is any unwatched episodes)
#2: Watch some comedy (Currently that would be Running Man)
#3: Watch some Music Videos (Basically you can summarize the first 3 to 'watching something')
#4: Facebook (4 for 4get, so I always forget to go Facebook and do #5 instead)
#5: Play FIFA 12. (It's really the best game I've ever played)
#6: Play games that are not named FIFA 12. ='0
#7: Blog.. about why I blog.. about why I blog.. about why I blog.. ... ...
There you have it! Blogging is like the 7th thing I'll thought of doing when I switch on the computer. (I also read soccer news before doing anything else. ='X)
Actually not, I already decided to make it end at 7 because I like the number 7, other reason includes I am tired of listing too many items.
Explains why I don't blog often! The reason I'm here now is because a new modem is installed at home..
... and it SUCKS! Super laggy, took me around 2 minutes to the blogging page. ='(
It's so slllooooowwwwwww~ That I cannot do anything else!
Gonna complain to SingTel indirectly (complain to my brother, and he'll complain to SingTel)
We didn't pay money to get a downgrade! (That's what I'll tell him to say, although I don't know if we paid anything at all)
Okays! That pretty much what I want to say..
Although I have really alot more to share, my birthday, CS birthday, RUI birthday.
But I know I'm gonna take a very long time to cover all that and I am actually very tired now. ='(
On the other hand, I can share I short news which you'll have no interest at all.
West Ham signed Modibo Maiga, hope he's really good like Drogba! (The Dembas Standard would do too)
Made me feel like playing FIFA 12! But it's so late already! Do you think I should play? ='/
I guess I continued this post another day because I don't want to post a short post!
A short post is like a flower without petal, it don't look as pretty, don't smell as fragrant (The flower scent is from its petal's oil) and most of all, it's incomplete.

Hey Hey! I'm back!
And here's my reason to blog today. I injured my wrist and can't go to the gym. ='( ='(
Damn, today is chest & abs day. It's my favourite day actually.
Before I talk about of the birthdays I promised to mentioned few days ago..
Let me share abit of my agenda for chest & abs day regardless of whether it will bore you.
The day will start of with triple bench press. Which I call it the system FID, helps you get as fit as a FIDdle.
The 3 different types of bench press are done in this order:
F-Flat (Last set weight: 60kg)
Only just have I increased my weight for this exercise, it's my favourite exercise actually! =')
Incline (Last set weight: 45kg)
This is actually the hardest among the 3, and I have a theory why, but it's hard to explain by writing, so I give up.
Decline (Last set weight: 55kg)
In practise, I use dumbbell instead of barbell, but I can't find a picture with same style.
Do 4 sets for each exercise, increase the weight (I increase 2.5kg after each set currently) after each sets and reduce the repetition (12, 10, 8, 6) accordingly. Feel free to do more if you feel on form that day, but do not overwork, because it's only the start.
After system FID, I have 2 more chest exercises that uses machines, to intensify the work out for my chest muscles. These 2 exercises are really cool too. The first one is like flat bench press, but you are seated upright instead of lying down. Therefore I call it the..
Raising Dragon (Last set weight: 50kg)
The last exercise is to touch up and work your chest muscles to its limit so that it can ensure maximum growth (No idea what I'm saying too, but it definitely helps if you do more). Most people call it chest fly, I like to call it the..
Flying Phoenix (Last set weight: 27kg)
That's all for chest, after which I will move on to abs, short for abdominals.
For abdominals I followed KL's workout, which include 3 exercise done consecutively with little or no rest in between.
After 1 set of 3 exercise is completed, rest for 5 mins or so, before proceeding to the next set, this is performed 3 times.
So here's the 3 exercise that are involved:
Abdominal Crunch Machine, This is exactly the one I use at my gym.
This is the machine that shape-shifts your round stomach to packs of six. However be warned that it is insanely painful.. well, no pain, no gain.. my tip to doing this would be shouting out the numbers when you're doing it.
It's just like Chinese Kung Fu, the louder you shout the more powerful you get, but you don't want to be like a maniac and shout "Ahh, Argh, Harr" in the gym, so just shout the rep numbers. =')
20 reps of your maximum weight, then immediately do a drop set (reduction of around 10kg) of 20 reps.
Leg raise, this machine can be used for other purposes too, eg. pull ups of dips.
If I am not wrong, leg raise helps to train the lower 2 packs below the 6 packs. It also helps training abs as a whole too.
So definitely a good exercise, by the time you reach this stage you don't have to do the Kung Fu shout, because.. you prolly cannot anyway.
Do 20 reps for this as well.
The last exercise is called the obliques side bend, you do not need any machine for this and it's pretty straightforward. So I'll go ahead and try to explain with just words. ='/
As the name suggest, it is to train the obliques, which is the muscles to the sides of your abdominals.
To do so, you will need to use a reasonably heavy weight, it's around 15KG for me.
Hold it with 1 of your hand. REMEMBER! When you're holding the weight with you left hand, you're training your right obliques, vice versa.
There is only 2 steps to this exercise, remember it by BEND and BEND.
Slowly BEND your body to the side where your weight is, to stretch the obliques at the other side. When you reach the maximum bending point, you should feel the stretch, if not, you are holding weights that are too light.
Now, BEND your body slowly to the other side, to squeeze your obliques on that side. To better achieve the squeezing results, imagine you are trying to use your empty hand to reach for the back of your calf.
You don't really have to touch it, but if you like to touch yourself, then do it by all means. ='0
So this is my chest & abs work out! Many credits to my gym master, KUAN LIANG.
After typing that I miss gyming so much, don't think I can gym for a while. How I hope I have wolverine healing abilities now. ='(

Moving on! CS birthday!
Funny thing.. the night before we went out to celebrate CS birthday, I had a dream.
A dream about CS birthday celebration and oddly, many parts of the dreams are coincides with the reality.
For example, I dreamt that CS wore green and he did wear green.
Used an App called PixlrOMatic, to edit the picture I took, damn cool right? I think it's mainly my skill and not the App's competency. Just kidding. ='/
Other parts of the dream may be the same because if was planned beforehand and I had those knowledge in my head.
Like David is to arrive with the present, a headphone. Amazing thing is that David is late in my dream, and he was the latest to reach the next day too.
CS's Birthday Presents on CS's table. Have to emphasis that, because my table is not as messy. In the dream, the headphone was purple colour(JUL like~) and bulkier design-wise. The cards are actually for a card game we created on my birthday, it's called Cita'D'. I have 1 set too. ='3
Lastly and most amazing part is I dreamt that we were playing bowling together and CS used a green ball, raising it up in the air like Yoo Jae Suk at some point.
But in actuality, we didn't planned to play bowling at all, our plan was to play laser tag. However when we reached the laser tag place, we realised it was entirely booked for a birthday celebration, and sadly it wasn't CS birthday celebration (Just like last year, Deje-vu-ception).
We were left with no choice and ended up playing bowling.. Amazing right? Am I a seer or what?
Anyway, the Yoo Jae Suk part didn't happened, I just wanted to mention it.
Ya~ Actually we played 2 games, but I'm just gonna show the one whereby I did better, the 1st one. Anyway, for the 2nd game we gave CS a task, and he can only obtain his present if he completes it. It is not be the last and achieve at least 70 points. Anyway, that's my best Bowling score so far, 143. =')
See! With just that little bit of explanation on how my dream is alike to the actual day of CS's birthday celebration, I managed to point out most of the details of the celebration itself. Genius or what? What.. What.. What..
Up next! RUI's Birthday! ='D
On RUI's birthday, we went out to play catans!
That's pretty much COLL do nowdays, cause KEN and JUL is so crazy about it. LOS!
I don't really mind what we do, as long as we did it together, so on my part, I enjoyed.
What's really cool about that day is that we took a group photo together.
I know it doesn't seems very impressive, but it is really very rare for us to take a group photo. Almost unimaginable. + CL is inside too! =')
Here it is, TADA DA DA DA..
COLCLL, it's not a typo, I placed CL in COLL beside KEN, the 1st L. Trivia: I placed her on the right side of KEN, because of the Chinese saying 男左女右.
The picture actually kinda reminds me of HIMYM, hahas! =')
If that's the case, then KEN & CL must be Marshall and Lily. That leaves us rest to be, Barney, Ted & Robin.
I don't want to be Robin. She's cool but I'm a guy, not being a sexiest here. ='3
That makes me a Ted or Barney.. if so there bound to be a Robin within us.. then I must date either JUL or RUI. Since both Ted & Barney has dated Robin.
Los! Wth, that's really stupid, let's forget the whole idea of us being HIMYM clique.
But last point regarding the show; I recently finish HIMYM season 6 and my mind was 'Bbssshhhh'..
SPOILER alert! Thought, Barney was going to marry Quinn. I was really happy because I thought they really clicked and seems perfect together.
But it has to turn out the other way, or should I say the old way. Barney and Robin. ='/
I really liked Quinn. Damn, what actually happened? Season 8 come out quick!! NOW!
I'm going CRAZY!!!

Not really, it's just that they kept saying that in K-variety show, seems cool so I wanted to try it.
Turn out it is not as cool when you type it out, maybe I should try shouting it out? ='0
You know, sometimes.. many times I will miss out blogging many of your birthday.
Please don't blame me, it's not just because I am busy and it's definitely not because I don't care.
It's mainly because, your birthday is a special one and I have remembered it by heart, so there's no reason to blog it.
Hope that compensates.. Los.. actually I think neither of you really cares. ='3
