Episode 33: Green Heart

Woots! Hahas! Why am I so happy?
Singapore is not country which celebrates this amazing festival.
Which I thought would bring alot of magic to every person's childhood.
Hope this cheer will brighten up the spirits of those muggers~ (I doubt it will)
and give them the power to overcome this difficult obstacles. (but I hope it will)
Hmm, so here is a Halloween picture I want to show:

Me & WM enjoying Halloween last year! This year he is super busy! But I believe we can celebrate again next time~ =')

Anyway, school have started for a week AD.
I was late every single day.
Only mentioned this cause I thought it's the only impressive thing that happened.
Ohh... Another impressive thing?
I skipped last lesson of the last day.
Not really skip larhs~ I've gotten my attendance and gone thru the lesson half way.
But when the lecturer gave us the break. My friend tempt me to go home~
I'm the easily tempted kind when it comes to skipping classes mahs~ So...
I calm down and told myself how important the lesson was.
I resisted the inner devil, and forced my body to stay in the class & forced my mind to concentrate on the lecture...

NOT! AD said I skipped le mahs~ Of couse I ciaosu [By by (Never really say By by to him, or else get caught le mahs~)] to the lecturer and zao (Run) le~ ='X
I gotten my attendence anyway~
I was very tired and cannot concentrate on the lesson~
It would have been a waste of time anyway~
I did felt a tinge of regret after that~
So it's okay to skip right?
Inner self: I think so...
Yes! Convinced myself that it's okay, feel so much better now~ =')

I think I kinda like the feeling I get from skipping lessons! Rofl!
I think this is the spirit of 逃学威龙! (Skip Class Brave Dragon, wah the name so cool also! Not bad, not bad~)
Anyway after skipping, went to Queen Albert Park (or something like that, i suck at remembering names of places):

1) To accompany my classmate (Wei Long) to go bet on football~
2) To check out on a gift for a present.

So I shall share abit of what my friend bought that day, guess he won't mind. =')
He don't read my blog anyway, so I don't care. =')

So anyway, if you watch football, or at least read the scores, you'll know he lost the 65 bucks.
I feel bad for him. Hahas (Who ask him bet on such ridiculous results against my team! ='3), but seriously I feel bad.
I know he can get over with it with a win in other upcoming games~ ='D

I actually care less about the Chelsea match.
I want to talk abit about the Arsenal VS West Ham United match.
Becaused I watched it, and I support West Ham! =')

Well, the score is Arsenal 1, West Ham United 0.
I think it's one of the best match I've watched.
I always thought there is the point where I will turned from liking the team to loving the team.
I guess this match is where the line is drawn.
Okay, that sounds so fake...
...
BUT! The 100% true fact (duh, facts are true) is:
that I begin to like the players alot more after watching this match.

Greeny, so happy when he saves the ball~ ='D

Green, is obviously the man of the match! Lot's of wonderful save from him! He's definitely on top form that day. If he isn't, then it's even better. I believe it definitely frustrated the Kuan Liangs abit (Arsenal's fans), but Arsenal still won. Alot of people expected an easy win from Arsenal, but it isn't the case, I don't know about other days, but 30/10/2010, Green is england no.1!

I'm also impressed by Parker, there is this occasion, where he got 'zham' by the ball, then he 'seh' and fell to the ground in agony, and as the match continues on, the ball got passed around. So when it eventually reached the near him, he got up even though he was in pain, dribbled abit, passed it away and sank to the ground. He really very 'pia' for the team, thumbs up! For those who disagree, please don't tell me, because I'll be mad at you. Also sorry for using so many dialect.='X

Sadly, it's that match is abit like a 'tower defense' game.
But it also let me see another side of the team, not the defense side, but the strong and determine character of each character.
It's the type of game where I've expected them to lose, hope that they'll draw.
But they put up a good fight that I started to expect them to draw & hope that they'll win.
Well, football can be a cruel game at times. (and epic fail at times)
Although the 88th min goal really broke my heart. It does really matters because, it does.
But Arsenal was the better team, it's so obvious if you watch the game.
I think it's a well deserved 3 points, but of course that is not I wanted. ='3
Ahhhh~ Nevermind! Good job guys! I still love you~ ='D
Anyway for those who don't understand why this part of the post is anyhow colored, it's not.
It's actually the away kit of WHUFC. ='D

Episode 32: The world at your feet

Hihi~ =')
At the tender age of 18, it's really amazing when you found out that you have world at your feet.
Sounds ridiculous huhs? But for the pass 24 hours, it really happened.
So for those who wants to know how it feels to have the world at your feet?
Or how to get to feel this 'world at your feet' feeling? I think I can answer you.

So what actually happened that made me talk gibberish at the start of the post?
This is what happened, JUL asked me to go over to his place yesterday.
When I was heading out, I wanted to feel comfortable so decided to wear a pair of slippers instead of shoes.
But my super cool camouflage in the sands slippers got thrown away by my mum.
So I was looking into the shoe drawer which I haven't looked into for ages.
Found a few slippers in it. Most of them look too girl, too old, or too... hmm, not my size.
But it's reasonable, because non of them are mine.
Then I found this pair of slippers hiding at the corner or the drawer.
It really requires a very sharp pair of eyes to spot it, and luckily for me, I have them. ='3
Up till now it seems like I'm digressing away from the 'world at your feet' topic huhs?
Not. Not at all. This is the pair of slippers that let me feel it. That feeling.
So anyway here's a picture of that very special pair of slippers:

Anyway, that is just a short story from me. So I hope you liked it. (Although it is abit no head no tail 没头没尾)
But seriously when you have the world at your feet. How will you feel?

Or should I say, how should you feel? What should you do?
For me, if I have the world at my feet. I'll think it's really amazing.
I'll look back in life and see what I've done, that actually lead me to where I am now.
And I'll share it with the people I care, that is if they want to listen.
But well, even if the world isn't at my feet. I still look back in life.
That's what I do all the time. That's what I do. That's what GIBSON does.
That's probably why I started this blog huhs?
Because I know I'm getting old enough to start forgetting the things that happened to me.
So I write them down, for the myself to read it now and then. Again and again.
Here is song, used for the opening of a Singapore drama 黄金路, which very much sings out what I've just said:

Hmmm, 黄金路 is a really naise drama. One of the only few Singapore dramas I've completed watching.
There are a few others, maybe I'll share with you guys next time.

Hahas! Sounds like alot to contemplate when you have the world at your feet huhs?
If it really is that complicated. Then I don't want the world. I just one the simplest kind of happiness.
Like some of the things that happened over these few days.
Beautiful things which brings an end to the holiness. (Holydays if you don't get what I meant)

Firstly, it's my mum birthday. I though it's quite successful.
No party, no buffet. Just went out with her in the morning for a jog.
And in the afternoon we went to West Coast for shopping and eating. =')
Very simple. But it felt great, and believe she felt happy too.
I also passed her the present and I'm really happy that she likes it. ='D
So here are some few interesting things that happened on that day.

1. When we were jogging at the park. My mum saw this old cleaner clearing the dead leaves in the park. And there are countless number of them scattered all over the park. A very tough job. Then she suddenly told me, "If I were god, I won't let this uncle do this. I will Shooooo~ and pile up the dead leaves like a mountain." Hahas! That's my mum. Very kind and very random (this time).

2. So the next interesting thing happened when we were on our way back home. We sat on the bus. I was totally beaten, very tired. Not because of the jogging or outing, but all those late nights I've endured in the holydays. Accumulated and BAM! suddenly you feel 136 times more tired. Anyway what I'm trying to say is that I'm really too tired to take note of anything then, even though I have the super sharp pair of eyes. Then while we were sitting down, my mum suddenly said, "Hey, you want that?" And then I looked to the direction she was pointing to, and it's a door hangar. I said "Yea!" I was really happy. But not just any normal happiness. It's the kind of happiness you get when you are young and your parents agree to buy you the toy you wanted. Except that toys doesn't do the job now. And what we want nowdays is really sometimes beyond they capabilities. You guys prolly forget how it feels AD. But I'm really glad that I get to feel it once again. It's really great. And I'm really grateful to my mum. Thanks MUM. =')

3. My sister came last minute to our house along with my brother-in-law and my nephew. It was a surprise, because they were suppose to be busy. It's really great to see that we can sometimes be a very sweet and naise family. She also brought a cake, but we AD gotten mum a cake. So we ended up having 2 cakes! How rare to have 2 cakes for your birthday (actually not that rare)! My mum's is quite lucky! Hahas! She also didn't want us to sing her the birthday song. I don't know why she don't like it so much los! But I convinced her by saying, "JUNKAI want to sing for you lehs. You don't want to hear arhs?" Well, in the end JUNKAI attitude, and never sing at all. In the end, everyone including my MUM is singing to make him sing. And he just kept laughing, as if it is his birthday. Tsk! Tsk! Tsk! Hahas! He's really adorable. =')

Heh~ So there are other happy things too.
Like JUL's return to Singapore. Got over to his place yesterday.
My maplestory character level 120! Los! Sorry, still a gamer huhs~
Quite a few dislike the game huhs? There are haters for almost everything.
But after living for so long. I've figured it out that for everything... and everyone.
Some people will like them, some people will hate them.
And is totally out of our control. So we have to just accept it.
So I won't blame those who hate MS or even ME...
However hard it is, it is still possible to change opinions and feelings of people.
To make people who hate something, like something. And of course it can go the other way round too.
But sometimes it's really sensible to not force it, and let time and nature take it's course.
If it doesn't work, then it doesn't work. They don't like it? Don't force them. =')

Well, as an saying goes~ For every 2 good things that happened there will be 1 bad thing~
So the bad thing about these few days actually happened today.
When West Ham United lost to Newcastle 1-2.
I was quite disappointed, because I thought they were gradually improving.
And the defense which was terrible at the start is getting abit more solid.
But it seems like for that match, after we scored the first goal.
We got complacent or otherwise I don't know what happened, and the teams started playing poorly.
But more than disappointment, I was sad, because I'm a West Ham fan and I want them to win!
Shaq! Upson injured somemore. Don't know what happened to Piqiuonne too.
But we can't change things that have happened, so let's hope we will improve and do better in the next match yea?

A rather good post huhs? Okay some people who hate my blog will disagree.
But not much people knows about my blog. So I doubt anyone will hate my blog.
Hmm... Yea Yea...
Okays! I'm signing off here. Schools reopening tomorrow.
Life is gonna get busier and suckier. Hopefully I still have time to come around and write a few lines huhs?

Episode 31: My phone protector

Hi!

Just woke up, I think I'm not human.

Because human don't wake up so late. And human are not so lazy to not blog for so long. ='X

I must be a pig or a cat. I prefer cat. ='/

Okay, haven't changed much have I? At least the way I blog.

Nonsen after nonsen.

...

But what happened this morning was alot more nonsen.

Actually it have been nonsen for awhile.

I meant my brother's phone.

He has like 20 alarms on his phone to wake him up in the morning.

And the worst thing is none of them wakes him up, but every single one wakes me up.

I sleep, woke up by his alarm, try hard to fall asleep again, but in the process woke up by his next alarm. This repeats for a many times, can't count cause I'm tired and fustrated.

And the interesting thing is every alarm has a different ring tone, I wonder how he does that.

So this morning is no different, I woke up (by the alarm) and complain to him.

I said, "Walao, 你有二十个 (you have 20) alarms arhs?". That's how the groggy me speaks.

...

Anyway I couldn't stand the noise, so I took his phone and brought it to the kitchen I hide it under the laundry.

Then my mum woke up. She was in the kitchen doing some house chores, then the alarm continues to ring under the laundry.

Then she said, "Aiyo, 什么声音来的, 吵死人! (What noise is that? So noisy!)".

Apparently she couldn't find the source of the noise, so she was very irritated.

And me who still can't get back to sleep was laughing at it. The kind of laughter that reminds me of my past time.

...

Why? I don't know. Don't ask.

Anyway, that's about it, but not all.

When I finally fell asleep, my house phone rang and woke me up. So I went to pick up the phone, and the person on the line asked "Is this the dentist?"

I was like OMG but I said, no, wrong number.

...

Yea, that's my brother's phone. The devil phone. In comparison to my phone which is so quiet and considerate, knows when not to wake me up, even if I'm running late, always allow me to have sufficient sleep. So caring. =')

...

Anyway, that's a very uninteresting story from my morning which is likely to happen again. I'll recommend you to skipped that part. Although I should have mentioned it at the start. ='P

So nothing much to blogged about in the holydays since I'm at home most of the time. Except for 2 days, MYK (Micheal Yung Kent) + WM birthday celebration and KL birthday celebration. So I shall talk about them. =')

MYK+WM Bday:

(Ru Lai Fuo Zu . CS) appointed (Tang San Zhang . ZX) to go to (Lei Yin Shi . KEMBAWANG) to retrieve the (Sheng Jin . BBQ food). And so (Tang San Zhang . ZX) gathered his disciples (Sun Wu Kong. KL) , (Zhu Ba Jie . BQ) & (Bai Long Ma. ME) to go with him. (Sha He Shang. ???) was on MC so he didn't turn up. They woke up very early the next morning to embark on their quest. The journey is so long and although (Sun Wu Kong. KL) can summon the golden cloud to fly us to Kembawang and back to Jurong West. (Tang San Zhang . ZX) insisted that we should be sincere and not cheat, so we took the MRT instead. On the way (Tang San Zhang . ZX) got very tired from the long hours of walking and requested to sit on (Bai Long Ma. ME) but during this period of time (Bai Long Ma. ME) had an injured leg. However, (Bai Long Ma. ME) has modest character unlike (Tang San Zhang . ZX) and did not request for (Tang San Zhang . ZX) to piggy-back him. The long journey was not only long but also accompanied with a series of hard test. Which required (Sun Wu Kong. KL) to fight off (Lang Gou Jing . DOG) & (Mi Feng Jing . BEE) to protect (Tang San Zhang . ZX) and more importantly the BBQ food. The journey was interesting and funny, but definitely not fun. It was too early, too hot and too tiring. Anyhow, here's a picture to remember this hard quest I've completed so that when I look back next time, I'll realise that I've used to do such good deeds. =')

There! Another nonsen from me. I should stop doing this.

Anyway after that, we stopped at Lakeside and I lead the Kembawang group the the BBQ site. And the party begins!
...
NOT! It took a long time to start the fire. So BEN thought of a method that his grandfather once told him. Which is to cook the food on the stone like how the cavemen did. So we tried although I know it won't work. But maybe, just maybe

So TADA! Here's picture for it.

So I see caveman have somethings we don't have. Nope, not skills. They have patience + an extra hot sun. Hmm, actually I have the patience. Nevermind.

Eventually we got the charcoal hot, fire started and most importantly, the food cooking and ME eating! Los! So the the fun is not so much from the eating and cooking. But the playing and chatting. And towards the end of the day, there is this group of girls with a few boys came, they settled at a corner (fitness corner) near where our BBQ pit is. Someone in our group (not me) suddenly suggest to select one person to go impress one of the girls there. Then the fame system was introduced. Where you do something correct, you + fame and you do something wrong, you - fame. High fame and the girls will like you. Low fame and the girls will avoid you. So if your fame is high, then you can go and impress the girl and if your fame is low, you have to go do something to pull up your fame. Either way you have to go. =_=,

This is the fame scoreboard which I've tallied at the end of the day., from highest to the lowest.

KL: 41 762 fames (From stripping, 'gek' muscles, do 2000+ pull ups)
WM: 750 fames (From walking around with camera to take creative pictures. wire mesh.)
ME: 33 fames (From picking up 2 piece of tissue papers and throw them into the bin)
DAV: -5 fames (From unknown reasons)
YK: -68 fames (From awkward actions on the monkey bar)
CS: Nil (Never participate)

So that is the scoreboard and it very much summarised what happened on that day. It was a great day, I've also learned more about what the JC people are going through. I know I can't totally understand it, but it's seems tough. No matter the case I believe you guys can do it and I hope you guys can do it too! So try you best ya! You'll always have your brothers backing you up! Now you just have to keep on ATTACK! ATTACK! ATTACK! and KILL the 'A' levels. Don't let it kill you instead. Leave the other things to us, we will bring down your distractions... Hmm... Other things like playing dota, shopping, gyming, soccer and many more. JY! ='D

Anyway an extra something for me to remember on that day was when I was busing home. Got this on the bus:

No time for long breaks JC bros! Take short breaks! Have a KitKat! Yeh! ='D

Yup! A door hanger! A important one, because it doubles my collection, and also because I like KitKat. Okay, that's not important, SKIP SKIP, let's move on to KL's Bday.

KL Bday:

Before mentioned any of the big happenings on that day. I'll talk about something small and trivia first. That's how they write good composition isn't it? The climax comes at the end. Or in the middle. At the end I guess. Hmm... Hmm... Whatever. So on KL Bday, my phone actually dropped twice. The 1st time, my phone protector protected it. The 2nd time, not so lucky. My phone protector couldn't save it. A bad omen huhs? Nope, I never thought so, I'm not superstitious. But well, I lost my phone protector that day. That very protector that protected my phone for as long as about a year (well maybe not that long). No one can protect anyone forever. There will be times where you feel unprotected (like my phone) or feel lost (like my phone protector). But at times like these, we should not give up, we will move on and believe that there are more beautiful things ahead. Don't get lost forever like my phone protector did. Something for us to think about huhs? Not really, just get another phone protector and get over with it. ='

So now, the climax! Or climaxes! Great things that happened on that very day where we celebrated KL Bday! And it happens to be on his Bday itself! We ate at Ishi Mura. Then accompanied Adel to eat at Carls Jr. Then manage to get KL a birthday yougurt. How cool is that? It's like the one and only in the world... on that day only. But still cool okays! So after that we when to watch this movie called the other guys. When I first heard it from CS, I thought it was a gay movie with sexual references. But phew, it's not, and I'll say the movie is pretty funny. Could be better though. So here's a picture for the movie we watched:

Very MAN show for the birthday MAN who just got MANer and even more MAN after watching it. ='3

The climax like nothing much huhs!? Nope! As I said the real climax comes in at the end! So, ladies and gents...

My first football poster which I've pinned on the wall on KL's birthday!

PING! At the left is my BRO motorcycle poster which I think he don't care at all. Bottom left corner is my finger. The PING sound so that it seems like when I point my finger to the wall, the poster appeared suddenly. Okay, what am I saying, I'm not making any sense at all. Forget it.

Scott parker! West Ham United Hero! At least in my time, I don't care of those player I've never watched them play before. Bobby Moore, Billy bonds and... I don't know. Some players I really liked in WHUFC would be, Robert Green, Scott Parker, Mark Noble and Lars Jacobsen (He just joined the club, but I like him, I don't know why! Los!).

Anyway when I said that was the climax, I was kidding! This is not even half as important as what I am going to say next. Which are some heartfelt words from the dictionary... I meant bottom of my heart to my brother Liang! This is weird, because I know you read my blog. You'll prolly read and laugh at it! Maybe I should make it in a form of poem, so that you don't understand and cannot laugh at it.

Proud huhs? Use your name as the poem tittle siol! What do they call it in chinese? 已良诗名! Anyway what I'm trying to say is that you're really a good friend, good brother. Influential to me in the right way. Someone I always look up to and learn from, in many aspects, especially football nowdays. Yet at the same time I can share secrets with you despite knowing you will spill the beans sometimes! Although you quite bastard sometimes, It's really fun to bastard together too! Everyone need someone like this in his life and I'm glad to say that I have you. =')

Hmm... These are days which I will never forget in my life...
Because I've written them down on my blog, and I read my blog often! Hahas!
But seriously, they are great memories and I remember them for as long as I can. =')

Wow! Good post! Even I'm surprised. I think I am on form for blogging ad. =')

Anyway I've changed the blog song too. To a very old song; Keep Holding On by Avril Lavigne. I remember hearing it from a blog.

And it gives the 'read a blog' feeling. So I hope you will be influenced by it and read my blog.

'A' levels are coming in about 30 days, so all the best to those are fighting them!
