Episode 45: Can't change a damn thing.

Hey! Really bored at home.
It's the study break now, 1 week.
And I am really not motivated to start. Yet...

Well, actually I did went to the library with KL the day before yesterday.
But we... I meant I didn't really study.
All I remember was we went to eat LJS couple meal at the end. Rofl!
The '??? meal for two' really ain't bad. $6 each and it looks like this! TADA!

Actually I cannot find a picture for it. But you can check it out yourself at the outlets! ='/

This is one of the times where I come here with no idea what to talked about.
Hmm... Added a quote to the previous post. Check it out if you missed it.
Just thought that it kinda matches the tittle. So yea... =')

Maybe I should get some new songs on the blog.

Anyway, these 3 days have been spend either FIFA or DOTA...
Oh yes! I've also watched some movies recently, two to be exact!
Heh! Finally found something to talk about, let's review them!

MOVIE #1: Tangled

Really naise movie! I'm really bad at explaining how good something is, but this is great. Hmmm... There's gonna be some spoilers here, but I guess it doesn't matter, since I am one of the slowest and I guess every other human being have watched this movie already. I liked how the movie started with no prince and princess. There is a princess but she didn't know she is one. There's a thief and a girl locked up in a tower and she don't even know she is. Seems like a girl who don't know anything huhs? But luckily, the fairy-god...king let them meet each other and made the magic happened (not gonna explain how).

Lots of twist in the story and lots of beautiful scenes that I believe everyone will enjoy watching. The movie proves a point, fairytale can happen on any two random people huhs? Or not... She is Rapunzel after all. I know there are people out the who likes to pinpoint plot holes of movies, but if anyone want to argue on this one, mind you, it is a fairytale, anything can happened, you want an explaination? Magical Disney Moment. They sacrificed realism for the sake of story telling... Anyway I just love the movie. Hope there is a part 2, which twist another tale. Maybe Cinderella? =')

This is one of my favorite scene. Very beautiful... I meant the floating lights... just like fireworks! Hmmm... But I don't remember the horse being on the boat too. ='/

MOVIE #2: Buried

In my opinion, it's another good movie, I'm just disappointed with the ending. The irony in the end was a success but the whole movie would be a greater success if he managed to escape and go back home. Then, to make matters worse, he thinks he's getting out. He promised his wife he was coming home. I truly felt for him because he thought he was getting out, only to die. WTF!? Totally un-fairytale like, but it's not a fairytale after all. ='3

Exact opposite of the previous movie huhs? Sacrificed storytelling for realism this time. Which is sad. I was hoping, believing the main character will somehow escaped in the end. He been through an awful lot, and being in the coffin in the first place is bad enough. I got to say, I was left is disbelief at the end of the movie, I searched the internet, hoping someone, anyone say that Paul Conroy (main character's name) didn't die and he manage to get back home and live happily ever after with his wife and son. But nope, I can't find it. So I guess I'll be the one writing huhs?

Real Ending: When Dan Brenner and the rescuers found Mark White's Coffin, they tried to help him out, and when Mark White came to consciousness he revealed that he heard vulgarities from below him when he was in the coffin, Dan Brenner quickly asked the rescuers to remove White's coffin from ground, and Paul's coffin was revealed. It appeared that Paul's coffin was below White's coffin all the while and the muslim prayer that Paul heard was actually White's singing. Paul was in a state of unconsciousness when discovered, so they immediately sent him to the emergency department in the hospital. The first thing Paul saw when he woke up was his wife, Linda and his son, Shane. He is at home.

Now that I know the real ending, I feel so much better! ='D

Okays! I'm done here! So all those who haven't watched this two movies!
I recommended you to do so! They are great!

Episode 44: My funny life

Hey! Gibson here! (Who else?)
I'm here to give an update on m.f.l (My funny life).
Why funny ? Because...

#1) It starts with the letter F too.
#2) It actually means my life is going wrong, so wrong that it's funny.

Isn't it correct? That we always label things as funny when they go wrong.
One good example, I remember seeing this TV show called 'Extreme Sports'.
Where people play some adventurous sports, things go wrong, and they get injured.
The show is actually categorised as a comedy? not a documentary!
Why do we laugh when this people fall down from their skateboard?
They are hurt and sad. We are stupid and evil to laugh at them. ='(

One of those inspirational poster you can find almost anywhere? But I don't think you'll learnt much from this one. ='X

But not to lie. I'll laugh too if they don't hurt themselves too bad. ='X
Anyway, I may have missed my point by a lot, but what I simply wanted to say is that things are going wrong in my life. ='(
So... FML... I meant M.F.L all started yesterday when I went to get myself a cup of water.
I suddenly feel clumsy (I usually am not) and spilled it on my desk where my laptop is.
So I quickly cleaned up the mess and attempt to save the my laptop.
Luckily the laptop is fine, and so is my mouse which was almost completely soaked...
...
OR SO I THOUGHT! The mouse broke shortly after, when I was dota-ing with WM and KL.
It was a good mouse helped me win alot of matches but lost more, but it doesn't matter.
The last game we completed together, I finished top of the chart!
At least it leaves with a good final piece of memory and I will remember it.
Actually I won't, so I bought a new mouse which somehow looks my old mouse! ='D

So that it will remind me of it, but waste money sia~ Shaq! R.I.P Lexma. Welcome Genius!

On the left is my old mouse, Lexma and on the right is my new mouse, Genius. I thought they looked alike until I reached home and compared them. =_=,

Well, that actually spoiled my entire plan of the day.
I've decided to study at home and complete as much of the syllabus as I can.
But instead I got out to find a replacement for my mouse. ='(
The first bad thing that happened today was I took the wrong bus.
Or should I say I took the bus from the wrong side.
Wanted to go IMM but ended up in JP. Just wasted some value in my EZ-link card.
"Doesn't matter. Doesn't matter." I told myself. =_=,

Reached JP and got my mouse at challenger. Thanks JUL for the membership! ='D
Thought of having my lunch there, so I called for those whom stayed nearby and see if anyone wants to join.
Sadly no one is lonely enough to be available. I meant hungry.
So I have to eat alone and risk getting my picture of me eating alone taken and get stomp, saying that '18 years old MAN has no friends!'.
But luckily I've check stomp and my picture wasn't there. =')
...
OKAY! I lied, I didn't check stomp, I've never check that site. I go better sites to check...
Hmm... Like soccernet. ='X

So after lunch I bused home and it started raining just when the bus reached my stop! ='(
Very sway right!? Haise~ But I've overlooked it, life is not a fair game. Just like football!
And so I got drenched, and kinda gloomy prolly influenced by the weather...
...
BUT! No matter how bad things get, they will always get better!
And things did got better when I saw this picture somewhere. HERE:

Just wait for the sunshine, because it can't rain forever. Didn't make the rain stop, but it made my day. =')

In the end it's happy ending yea? Not really, cause I didn't study at all.
Went dota-ing to test out my new mouse. 1 W 1 L 0 D, not bad~ ='3
Tomorrow will be busy too. Going out with COLL!
Woots! Maybe I can look forward to that and stop thinking about school work!
Hope the swayness ends here and I don't have to bring it to my exams! ='(
But more importantly I hope I can finish studying all the topics before exams start.
But today is getting late, and I am getting tired + ready to dota.
So I'll start tomorrow instead, after I gone out with COLL! Promise! ='D

Episode 43: God send a miracle please.

Hey! Hap New Year!
Woke up this morning with some random thoughts.
Quite nonsensical but I'm gonna share regardlessly.
So very sorry for the very nonsen intro to come.

This was what I was thinking.
I am god. (Nonsen ad right?)
Why? Because if you translate my english name into chinese.
It'll be 急步神!
Very cool arhs? Actually I got inspired by the God of pop, 麦克杰神.

So yea, let me translate few of the brothers' english names.

Okays, so that was what I was thinking the whole afternoon after I woke up...
...
NOT! But I thought about it for about half an hour. ='/
But this isn't the main reason why I am blogging today.
I want to wish everyone a Hap New Year! Which I already did.
Plus! I want to talk about the B.O.B outing recently and...
Some truthful words to my 2 brothers who are entering army soon. ='(

B.O.B outing was a great day! Wasn't it?
David SMS everyone to meet at 5.30pm so everyone reached on time, or slightly later...
...
NOT! David came at 6.30pm instead! >='(
But we forget it because we very forgetful... I meant forgiving.
Anyway, because everyone is tight on the budget we have to dine at Burger King.
But it isn't that bad, cheap and filling at least.
Got a YK and BEN each a pie, the least I could do for these BROs in my 省钱王 mode.

After that we went to GV, to decide on a picture to watch.
We decided on Shaolin. (since stupid BQ watched most of the available movie, literally it's him who decided what to watch)
After buying the tickets, we realised we got too much time to spent before the movie start.
Initially we planned to go SAFRA for pool, but 天不做美 and started raining.
So we proceed with plan B which is monopoly deal at Starbucks~
At Starbucks, I discovered this really naise beverage called Java Chips something something...
Hmmm...You just have to know it's called Java Chips in short. Here's a picture!

Found this picture on Google image search 1st page, realised that it looks like my primary school friend~ ='0 Anyway I circled the Frappuccino to get your focused on it. She is not my girlfriend. ='/ (EDIT: Oh it is my primary school friend: AXY)

So monopoly deal is a easy game which anyone can win by cheating.
But you can't win easily when everyone is cheating.
Luckily for me, only KL and ME cheat, so quite easy, although I only played 1 game.
Didn't win though! Noob. ='(
The last round was quite draggy and we overlooked the movie's start time.
But we managed to rushed in just in time, for a few exciting advertisement just before the movie starts. =_=,
So now the movie! And my verdict!
Not a bad movie! But the plot is abit small though.
At least it's my kind of movie, the characters being very MAN and sacrificed themselves for the sake of others. Very touching, I like~
Some really naise action scenes in it, especially when Jacky Chan gets involved.
My favourite character is the 大师兄, he very MAN. Sacrificed himself to protect all his brothers.
He is also quite a fighter, able to fight with his will despite being heavily wounded.

The 大师兄 is the one directly below Andy Lau. I also downloaded Band Of Brothers, a 10 episode drama, about army because of this movie! I think it's gonna be very BROTHER too! Come my house watch? =')

It was actually very late after the movie, about 11.57pm.
And all the Cinderellas have to rush home, but all missed their last MRT.
Los! Luckily there are still some buses available for them, including me.
Last thing I remembered about that outing was BEN and ME rushing to the toilet and rushing back to our respective bus station berth so as we do not miss the next bus.
Good shuttle run training for BEN! Prepare him for ARMY! =')

So yea, that's very much what happened that day. Another fun day to remember.
And now I want to give my 2 fellow brothers some words of wisdom (Not really) before they enter the ARMY!
BEN don't read YK's one! and YK don't read BEN's one! In case I used the same phrases for both message! ='P

BENEDICT:

Time has fly since we first met huhs? You are now darker, smarter and stronger (mainly mentality wise) just like a person who is totally prepared for NS! And I hope you are really prepared, but it doesn't really matter because I'm sure you have the ability to immediately adapt to this kind of environment. It'll be very green inside, just like what you always loved! So not much worry about 'inside the army', but 'outside the army' just know that all your brothers will miss you! Also occasionally badmouth about you, that's part of missing right? Just kidding. But yea, I believe army will make you are better person! You'll be even darker, even smarter (With all the army knowledge) and even stronger (this time in the physical asppect)! So with that, all the best my brother! ='D

YUNG KENT:

Dear Yung Kent! I wonder how you look when you are botak! Hahas! I still can't imagine it, so I'll make sure we'll meet up very soon so that I can have a good look at it! But seriously, I'll miss you, regardless whether you have hair or not, you are a great brother to have! So remember, sun shines, rain falls, sergeant scolds, perspiration drops, hardship forms, regardless how hard life is inside, we are always outside missing you (Did I make it sounded very bad inside?)! we are happy for you to this new challenge and a new phase of you life which will make you a better person. Also, we'll meet up soon enough and often enough to make you a happier person! That's more important right!? BROTHER VS ARMY! Doesn't matter what you choose, we'll support you till the end of the world, brother!
