Episode 39: Half cup of wine

Hey!
I'm so sorry for the previous post!
I bet no one read the whole post, except me.
It's really damn long! So sorry!
Therefore, I'm going to make this post really short.
Just to say a few thing that happened on Xmas and today. =')

25th

Xmas, was great. I went to orchard, to see the shining & glittering scene...
and RUI, intended to find him to buy his miniature santa-hat which look exactly like the one I drew in the picture.
But Somerset is very crowded, and very complicated place... for me.
I'm not make to navigate in towns and cities... and country sides and villages, (Okay that is like everywhere) UNLESS I go there often!
So not that bad arhs!
But took a really long time to find RUI and we kept moving around.
I'm kinda guilty to disturb him while he is working. ='X
Finally found him at Paragon, and he bought me the hat instead, of me buying it!
It's very nice of you RUI! But next time I treat you cannot reject arhs! >='(

Anyway, it was raining heavily that day, therefore everyone was rushing for shelters.
But I had my umbrella, so I could stand in the middle of the empty road, and look straight down.
Lights and colors were everywhere + the reflection from the raindrops = Shining and glittering.
Make me feel like I'm standing infront of the road which lead to a very beautiful place.
And sadly that place is just Orchard road. continue going down, and you will rich Newton.
That place is not heaven, nor wonderland. So just part of my imagination which I want to share. =')

Okay, so after I visit RUI, got my hat, imagine abit, I have to immediately rush to Newton.
For my neighbour's wedding. I'm not close to them, but my dad couldn't go, so I went on behalf with my mum.
It was at Sheraton Tower, KEN said the place is famous for it's chinese food. Okay la, really not bad~ ='3
This time I didn't dare to eat too much, because the table is filled with people I'm not close to, except my MUM.
I'm also afraid I get too full. So I asked for red wine.
I heard that red wines helps you to stop feeling full. Useful during those full course meal.
But I learnt about that after christmas, so I was unconsciously doing the right thing. =')
Drank like 8 and a half cups, leaving half a cup on the table before I left.
Felt like the world is spinning my head. I meant the world is spinning. No, I think is just my head spinning.
But that's all! I'm not drunk! I can still walk straight!
Because alot of people mahs! Wedding somemore cannot be disrespectful... and MALU!
Really not drunk arhs~ But I think if I drink like another 8 and a half cups, comfirm... drunk.
But that is now, maybe next time I even more ZAI ad! =')
Went home after that, so that's my christmas! How's yours? You prolly won't tell me.

30th

Today, started rather shaq.
So let's start with the not shaq part.
Which is when I met WM at his house void deck.
Then after that we walked from his house to his school.
Before that we walked pass Westwood, part of the path to his school.
Okays, let's skip... Just know that we walked alot.
And we talked about alot of things!
Anyway the main purpose of going out today is celebrate WM first break.
Los, that is a big change from the initial purpose! But doesn't matter! ='D
We went to Swensen's, and got this firehouse happy birthday sundae!
And it was non of our birthday, the waiter smiled at us like it's one of our birthday.
So I faster act abit, as if is WM's birthday. (if not very paiseh arhs~)
And sing the happy birthday song for her quickly and swiftly and WM made a nonsen wish!
Nonsen because he say the wish out, + the wish is to revive his dead hamster when he gets home.
Anyway, the sundae look like this! Tada:

Along the way (since we meet, until we part ways), we talked alot!
About almost everything. We so BROTHER that, there is nothing we can't talk about!
I believe even if we run out of things to talk, we will start singing together! Los (actually not really), Thanks WM! ='D
Really great to have a friend whom you can talk anything to! I know I have a few! I feel so blessed!

Today reached home left 1 dollar. Damn shaq!
What can I do with 1 dollar? I can't every buy 3 lollipops.
1 for 30 cents, 3 for 90 cents... hmm... GST lehs!? 7%... means 96cents...
Aiya, 4 cents so hard for the person to change for me... therefore cannot buy 3 lollipops! >='(
If possible, I will use the 1 dollar to save a life.
If that is enough (prolly not enough), and if there is a life which needs saving (don't have... I think).
Hahas, very random hors?

Episode 38: Christmas if...

Hahas!... Ho! Ho! Ho!
Christmas is finally here!
And it's time to get busy! Becuase I'm santa-man...
...
NOT! But because I'm just really busy larhs! (but I am sant-man too okays!)

So just came back from chalet!
It was really really fun.
An unforgettable 3 days 2 night, which landed me in $36.20 debt. (just to remind myself, that i owe ppl money)
But it is definitely worth it!
The fun, the food, the feeling. Triple F man! FFF! France Football Federation! KL like~
Okays! Random! Sorry!
It'll take me 3days to talk about every moment that is worth mentioning.
Because every part of it is so fun, priceless & merry (for xmas)! Not a single second wasted! ='D
So I shall summarize it!
It'll still be very long, so bare with it...

Survivor - Band of Brothers:

Okay, there's a reason why I used the survivor tv series logo.

Because it is the first impression we got when we reached our chalet.
The kampung hut is really small. And the surrounding looks... survivor comparable. Rofl!
I'm thinking they photoshop the picture they took to make it look big on the website.
Anyway, here are the details to our 3days2nights survivor game:

Commentator:
We are at sentosa, the heart of tourist attraction, located in the south of Singapore. And these 16 Singaporeans and 2 Malaysians are about to begin the adventure of a lifetime. They will depart from this city (Vivo city) as group of man and a group of women, their destination; Sentosa Island. A beautiful and not dangerous jungle, which was once a camp for prisoners of Japanese. Now it's home of exotic and wildlife animals, including the peacock & the most dangerous animal in the sea, the shark (YK say one). It is also the nonsen season now and the island has been hit by frequent sad storm which will prevent them from beach activities (not really).

This will be their home for 3 days, they will be abandon. Left alone on the island to survive by utilizing the resources they brought from their homes and bought from Giant supermarket and abit of the survival skills... and to celebrate 6 birthdays. It is the ultimate challenge, 18 friends, gathered together to form a new society to battle the elements and each other. They must learn how to adapt or they will be voted out of the tribe. In the end, all 18 will be rewarded with a wonderful memories... hopefully. 3 DAYS! 18 PEOPLE! 2 MALAYSIANS!... I meant... 18 SURVIVORS!

Day 1:

So after we got surprised of how small the hut is. We have to come back to reality and go to the reception to check in. When we (guys) were crowding around the stairways near the reception table. The guy in charge yelled at ask with an indian accent (or not, but I don't care because I hate him) to COMMAND us to move into another area. His attitude sucks, well but that is prolly because we didn't go for the deluxe room. So the service is ABIT different arhs~

Okays, forget about the bad things. After the check in, we got in the toilet. I meant the toilet-size hut. Unlike the girls who have to unpack and tidy up the room. We put down our bags, touch abit of everything; the bed, the desk, the air-con, the lamp and the fridge (Okay, there is no lamp and fridge, although they are the basic items) and off we go with our volleyball & frisbee! Just when we are about to head to the beach, we are informed that our first immunity challenge will commence immediately at where we are (outside of the hut). So this is a picture of our first challenge:

Each contestant are to guard the gap in between 2 poles. If you allow the ball to go through your gap. You are eliminated. Contestant that do not participate in this game are eliminated straight away. Winner will be granted with immunity and do not need to attend the tribal council at night. In the end it was ME and CS left fighting for the immunity. CS won (He said let him win, he will help me tomorrow =_=,).

So after after the immunity challenge, which at the same time is a good warm up for all of us. We headed to the beach! So we started throwing the ball and frisbee all over with no real motive. And after awhile, it transformed into a goalkeeping game. Which I am the goalkeeper (Not bad quite fun) And somehow it changed to volleyball. So it's an ever-changing activity on the beach. Until the girls came and we got some real games with rules! We played volleyball, but decided that some are not skillful enough to keep the ball in the air long enough, so we have a little practise where everyone forms a circle, and pass the ball around in volley style. Somehow, when we practised enough, we played frisbee instead... Weird. Anyway the frisbee game is actually the reward challenge of the episode. Where the winning team get the have free breakfast (There are 4 breakfast ticket issued to us) at the cafe, while the losers have to eat nutella with bread (not bad also lehs~).

So the we split into 2 groups. ME, CS, KL, ELAINE LOW, DIONYSIA one team, and the other team; DAVID, YK, WM, BEN (not sure he got play or not ='X), JING HUI, KONG TING. So the game was really fun. Especially at the start where you can resolve to old school tactic, and act like you are in the opponent team, because everyone is still confused with the grouping. But towards the end, it got very tiring because we have to sprint and stop, and sprint again, and the process continues. Really requires tremendous amount of stamina + a strong heart los! So my team leader, CS decided to be more strategic. And throw the frisbee far away all the time, to make the opponent run while we reserve our energy to prepare for a counter attack. And in the end it worked (or not, we could be lucky) and we won! It was a tight match 4-3!

After the beach activity we headed back to the kumpung. Got kinda confused of what to do. Shower first? Or Swim? Or eat? Or what? Shower, eat, swin? Shower, swim, eat? Swim, eat, shower? Swim, shower, eat? Eat, shower, swim? Eat, swim shower? Eat what? =_=, I don't know anything, it was very confusing. The next time i know is that we are in the pool. And I can't swim. Shaq. Anyway thanks YK for trying to teach me how to swim again. Prolly have to attempt some swimming lessons if I'm serious about learning swimming, but again. I'm too lazy to do so. In the end it was Swim, shower, eat, shower? Okay, this option isn't even mentioned. So anyway, we walked a long distance hand in hand to 口福 to eat. Shared Bak Ku Teh with WM, because we are team POOR! Okay shall talked about the teaming later on! So after the dinner we went back to our kumpung. Yes, the small and squeezy one, in other words, cosy. =')

Okays! Now I can talk about the teaming. In the guys room! We are divided into 5 different teams! I shall talk about each of them, who's in the team and what are their specialties.

Team BB:

They are from boy brigade when they are young.
Well known for the big size body and insufficient resting space on their bed in the night. =')

Team MALAYSIA:

They are from Malaysia when they are young are are STILL Malaysians. I think.
Their resting area is the farting area. Anyone who feels like farting has to climb to the upper deck. =')

Team SMOKE:

CS & ADEL (DAVID, temporal member, because no team on first day)

Adel smoked on that day, CS drank the water adel drank after smoking. David drank the water CS drank when he came. So they are from team smoke.
Well known for doing bad things. Like cheating in monopoly and... All the bad things. Anything bad happens, blame team SMOKE. >='(

Team POOR (Previous name: Team TRICKSTER)

Decided to play TRICKSTER online when we return home. Therefore team TRICKSTER. But found out that being POOR is a greater emphasis for us. So ended up with team POOR.
Description: POOR. Noob @ monopoly. ='(

Easily drunk due to their curly hair. Alcoholic contend flown to the head are trapped in the hair due to curliness. ='0

They are buff. Constantly competing with each other to see who more buff.
Team is formed last minute there for not much description. ='D

So this is layout of which are belonging to which team. Team poor is poor but at least we got shelter and bed okays! ='D

So those are the teams and the team layout. Now, back to what happened after dinner. Remember about the reward challenge where winning team guys get breakfast ticket? ME, CS & KL won, but there is an extra ticket. So we decided to have another challenge to determine the last winner of the breakfast ticket! And the challenge is non other than the famous monopoly which everyone will play at night during chalet. Right? team SMOKE got suspected of cheating! Team POOR got bankrupt! And team BB won the challenge. And the reward, the last breakfast ticket goes to... team MALAYSIA's YK! Because he claimed that he is sick. And ZX gave him the breakfast ticket he won out of goodwill. So that is YK strategy of winning the survivor! Act sick and gain sympathy! Los! That is very much what happened during day 1. So end of day 1 marks the start of day 2!

Day 2:
=====

So day 2 started with the breakfast. I gotten the american breakfast set, which was so-so, I think my mum can do so much better. I think I myself can do so too! >='(

This time we didn't go the beach. Not yet. We stayed in our hut to play poker. Played many different games. Texas Holdem, Asshole Diadi (DAVID is the best Asshole), Indian poker... Actually not many, just 3. But we made it quite interesting and fun. Especially Asshole Diadi, we have too many people so we tried to invent new roles and the game ended up quite imba on a few occasions. After awhile the girls asked us to play together because they don't have enough people. So we all joined them in the girls hut (because they say our hut very smelly, really mehs?) Then after awhile, we find the girls hut too small (as small as the guys hut) and we moved out. After awhile... again... We realised that it is a bad idea to play outside the hut, due to the presence of many mosquitoes with cut ability (able to leave a cut mark on your legs). So we decided to play in the pavilion near the beach! And is beach time again!

At the beach, we decided that our volleyball skills need more training. So we played the circle volley exchange game (I came up with the name in like 2 secs, cool huhs?) again. So the chalet turn out to be like a volleyball training camp arhs?... NOT! But yea, alot of volleyball involved. So the second day don't have anymore survival games. We went back to prepare the BBQ food after the volleyball practise. Next, we went to the swimming pool to swim (for them, i just 'try to swim'). Then finally it's the long awaited BBQ time! Was quite guilty of not helping out much during the previous BBQ! So this time, I tried my best to do more. But when JERM came. We sat down to interrogate him about his new relationship with UNI. So if i didn't help much, it's JERM's fault! But I really help quite alot la! >='(

Then then, we have the birthday celebration! Where the cup cakes come in! It's really cute with all the different small tokens on top of the cake, I kept one. Got the birthday boys and girls to make their wishes, blow the candles and also take a few pictures. Right after that, we got the give exchange going. Really cool, the last time I did an gift exchange was when I was in primary 7! That is like unknowingly long! So CS actually got my gift, it is a crystal growing kit! Which is quite cool, took me very long to decide what to buy okays! So must appreciate it! Anyway the present I got from ELAINE LOW, it's a cup which says, "He who laughs last thinks slowest". So I abit slow larhs! Because I couldn't figure out what it is trying to say until I tried laughing... alone... In my room. =_=,

And after the gift exchange, they started playing some games whereby the loser have to eat the rest of the food (apparently there are too much food and everyone is full). But ME and KL didn't care, we just eat. Los! But I got bored and joined the game for awhile before they stop playing. It was then, the sky got really dark which makes you wonder if the street light have been turned off or what. But no, it didn't it just gotten really dark. So we started playing the very lousy sparkles. No Tiuuuuu~ sound, which could have been very cool. And it can't even last for a min. So the guys got bored of it str8 away, leaving the girls trying to write some words. Which I couldn't figure out what. But I know KARMEN keep ignoring CINDY's command to write DAVID's name. ='3

Then we have the drinking game called King Cup & The Ring of Fire, very cool right!? But not only is it cool, it is very fun too. We had a trial run using purely plain water. Which I think WM suffered the most, because he GEY KIANG (Act smart) say KL only come out with AH GUA (Sissy) rule! So KL came up with a rule that, everytime anyone have to drink, WM have to drink the same amount! Los! Damn shaq! The real thing comes after we clear everything at the BBQ pit, and head back to our hut! But we only have 6 cans of beer, so we mix mix... water and beer. Like very shaq arhs? But ended up quite fun! With most of them seemingly drunk in the end. But I don't think they are genuinely except for DAVID & JERM! I don't know why! Los, maybe because they team CURLY! At the end of the game, everyone went to the toilet, and then to bed. Left ME, WM & CS, we decided to head outside the hut for HTHT (Heart to heart talk) which didn't last more than 20mins. Just basically explode say (包料) to each other. (Don't ask me what, I don't know. I think). ='X

Then we went to bed, 3 person share one bed. The layout was bullshit which no one follows. And my sleeping position requires me to lock my leg and prevent me from turning and twisting. Which is not very comfortable. But I shall not complain because I am a MAN! Day 3... Shall be talked about in 'Day 3' section! ='D

Day 3:
======

Basically day 3 we are preparing for departure. Got ready to leave, and left. 3 days 2 night chalet turn out to be great! Not too long to get bored about it, and not too short to get shaq about. So really fun chalet overall! One of the best 3 days 2 night! To be best consecutively for 3 days 2 nights! Very difficult one okays! So you guys and me should be proud of ourself and each other that we share such great brotherhood among ourselves! ='D

Hahas~ Ho! Ho! Ho!~ Haiz~ Really overspent! No more spending for the rest of the holyday.
Except helping RUI buy his miniature christmas hat~ ='0
Because it is christmas day!

I want to tell everyone that there are people who are watching over you.
Christmas is a chance to be good.
Even if you don't have parents, or don't believe in God...
Even if that is the case, there's someone watching over you.
That's what I want to tell you.
I want you to know that someone cares about you.
This may sound very stupid, but it's all because I believe...
Someone is actually watching over me somewhere.
To me, that person is Santa. The real Santa.

That's why I truly love christmas.
The streets, shops... everywhere is glittering.
It's dazzling and beautiful.
Everyone looks really happy.
The world is overflowing with happiness.
I feel like I'm part of the happiness.
I want to be good.
I want to be part of the happy, glittering scene of Christmas Eve...
While wearing a happy face.
That's what the santa-man does.

Also you know...
I really met Santa before.
It was when I was young.
I was sleeping but woke up suddenly in the middle of the night.
Then I looked out of the window,
and Santa was there.
He gave me a chocolate bar and said:
"If you be a good child, I'll definitely come again."

Well, it might have be a dream.
But even so, it was a really happy dream.
That's why I want to be good.
You prolly think I'm pretty stupid to believe in a dream.
...
It's a dream.
Whatever, it's not like it's real.
It's not like I'm clinging on to something real.

Episode 37: It doesn't feel right

Best thing about tonight's that I'm not studying!
Could it be that I have been this way before?
Of course I have! and how much I miss it!
To be free, and... happy (relative to few days ago) ='/
Anyways, exams are finally over! Thank god!
It is like the end of the war...
...
Between the sleep-man & the study-man.
Sleep-man doesn't want to study,
And study-man don't want to sleep.
So I'm the innocent guy who's trapped in between this fight,
And I am all torn and tattered. ='(
But now that everything comes to an end.
I have to stay strong and rebuild this blog!
Just like after the war, they have to rebuild the city right?
So this post is just one small step for me, but a big leap for my blog!

Anyway, during this exam period, I want to thank few people who have helped me.

GOD: I subconsciously thank you, just now (in the first para), so I thought I should mention it.

JEREMY: For helping me with the MF quiz! Thanks alot! =')

ALEX, KARMEN & XUEN: Thank you guys for helping me with question (I couldn't understand)/(I didn't know exist)! =')

Episode 36: Stupid day

Hi there!
Finally got some time to blog.
Have been busy these few days.
All because of the 2 exams that I had today.
But all's over and all's well.
Well because it's over, not because I'm anticipating good results or what.
In fact, I think I didn't do that well. (I always think wrongly, so let's hope I'm wrong again)
But as I said ALL'S WELL!
But again, not really, because I have 3 more test next week a.k.a. common test week.
But... but... These 3 papers are free frag.
Free... frag... What is that?
Wei Long always use it, so I learnt to use it too...
I know FREE, but what is frag? FRAGMENT?
FREE FRAGMENT?
Makes no sense. I know it means easy, but why?
Don't care, I will eventually find out. By some means I don't know how.
But until then, I shall not bother searching for the meaning and just use it.

ANYWAY! Blog change song alert!
Okays... That sounded so broken.
I meant, I've just changed the blog song... alert.
Hmm... Wrong still. Oh well~

This is prolly a very familiar song to most of you.
And very close to many people hearts. (I don't know why, but I just think so)
At least it's special to me, seriously.
Almost all English songs I've listen during sec 4 are special. (prolly because it's when I started listening to English songs)
Once in a while now, when I listen to the radio, or just pass by a place with music.
And if they are playing a 2008 English song which I've heard of.
I'll tell the person beside me, "Wow! This song gives me the sec 4 feeling!"
Meaning I feel young again...

This song reminds me of KL, because it was his phone's ringtone.
It's just like his theme song you know!?

'Fall for You' by 'Secondhand Serenade' @ Brother Liang:

From the song, I think that they had a good relationship, but it started falling apart because of ??? and they can't stop fighting. (best thing about tonight's that we're not fighting) They forgotten what it was like when they were happy together. (could it be that we have been this way before) They tried to mend their relationship, and the boy tried to change, but the girl sees no change. (I know you don't think that I am trying) The boy knows that the relationship is dieing. (I know you're wearing thin down to the core) And the rest of the basically is the boy's attempt so salvage the relationship, telling the girl to stop and listen to him. (But hold you breathe...) The boy truly loved the girl. Whatever happened next doesn't matter. Because the boy is a great guy! *Clap! Clap! Clap!* =')

'Your Guardian Angel' by Red Jumpsuit Apparatus @ Brother Koh Jing:

Beautiful is not a strong enough word to describe this song. I remember singing it during sec4 CIP, don't know why, but I just remember. So anyway on with the analysis, So this song is about this boy who love this girl alot, but he knows that they can't be together. So every time he thinks about her, he will feel a tinge of sadness in his heart. (when I see your smile, tears run down my face) So after a period of time, the boy grew up and understood, (and now that I'm strong I have figure it out) that if he loves the girl, it doesn't matter if he is to be alone and despondent. (how this world turns cold and breaks through my soul) He just have to find the courage inside him to take on the role to protect this girl. (and I know I'll find deep inside me I can be the one) It requires courage because it means he have to give up and sacrifice many things for it. So he decided and is really determined to protect this girl, help her, and do anything for her. Even take a bullet for her. (The whole of 2nd verse) And even though he knows that after doing all this, the girl still may not love him. He is fine with it. (It's okay, it's okay, it's okay~~~) Very MAN! but quite sad. ='(

'Love Story' by 'Taylor Swift' @ Brother Ming:

So the meaning of this song is actually pretty obvious. Maybe because I am too tired and lazy to analyse it, but it is basically girl likes boy and boy likes girl, and they have this classic relationship: girl being Julius and boy being Romeo. Also another important part of the song, is the disapproval of the relationship from the girl's parents. But no matter what, girl and boy relationship is strong enough to overcome this and in the end it is not just a love story like Julius and Romeo which ended with tragedy, but a love story with a happy ending too. =')

Wei Ming actually wanted to change his theme song! So stupid! It's one of the best although it is not as manly as the two mentioned above. It's one with the most obvious happy ending. And sometimes in life. All that matters is to be happy. ='D

There is another reason for today's blog.
Or should I say it's the only reason why I am blogging today.
If not because of it, I won't be blogging.
Sounds fake right? Because I already blogged a huge load of other things.
But seriously it is so very true!
Blogging to me, is just throw random things in my head onto this blog...
and at the end, or sometimes in the middle write down my main point.
Or sometimes I don't write it at all, I just put it there...
You get it? I put my feelings there, and you have to close your eyes to feel it.

But this is not one of those time! I'm just gonna go to the main point! =')
Which is JUL's birthday is tomorrow.
I decided to blog today, since tomorrow we will prolly go out. ='D
So as usual, a few words from me to the B'day boy:

Hi JUL! You don't visit my blog often! So I guess it'll take awhile for you to discover this post!
Hopefully you won't skip this post because you see that it is very lengthy, because this post is meant for you! We've been friends for damn long~
Best of friends: 9 years going 10. During this long time, we see each other grow and change. You've changed to a cool guy: Handsome, Cool, Play Drum, Handsome again!
Hahas! I'm so proud of you! And me? I've change to a proud guy lo! Always very proud of the friends I have!
We also have each other's back yea? At least you will have mine! We gone through so much together. At least, generally we gone through life together although somewhat separately.
I believe there is still a lot for us to experience together and we will look forward, to it to the blossom of our FRIENDSHIP/BROTHERHOOD arhs!
I must bold that because I find my speech seems to be giving off the wrong signal! I know you can feel it too! Rofl! You always very sensitive to this derhs!

Hmmm... I did mentioned that I'll blog when West Ham wins?
Well, West Ham didn't win last weekend!
But I've blogged today! So let's take it that me blogging today means West Ham will win tomorrow okays!?
But tomorrow really tough match. I doubt...
Must be positive! Okays! Yays! ='D
