Episode 27: If I were to be a singer...
Hey! Hello! Hmm... Hi!
Just finished my first exam paper this morning.
Can't say it's terrific, nor can I say that it is terrible.
So...
I've decided not to say anything about it. Haiz~ =_=,
After the paper, I've decided to let myself rest for a day.
So awhile ago, I was thinking, "Hmm, what can I do?"
Then, I figure out thinking won't help so I went ahead and play PES.
I played WEST HAM UNITED FC vs Chelsea FC: 5v3!
Woots! Hope the result will turn out something like that tomorrow!
Actually I will be very happy even if its a draw~ WHUFC JYJY~! ='D
After PESing! I got no idea what to do. Seriously.
So I've decided to visit this pathetic blog which I've always neglected. (at least for the last month)
And write something on it. And I've already got an idea of what to write.
After visiting CS blog yesterday. Thanks CS! =')
But before I go on writing about it! I want to share a new song one my playlist!
Uhh... I meant it's an old song, but first time appearing on my playlist so it's new.
The song is called, 'Belle of the boulevard" by "Dashboard Confessional", I think you are listening to it already.
I think it really suits the blog well, because of the entrance of the song, the sound effect of rolling of old films.
Like playing back on what happened to me last time, when I read the blog again.
Hahas! I prolly think too much. Again. =_=,
Well, we all like certain songs, but sometimes we don't bother what the song really means.
???: "Why? Why should we? It just sound nice, and I like it! That's all! The end!"
But sometimes when you learn the meaning behind the song, you will appreciate the song much better.
So anyway this is the meaning of the song "Belle of the boulevard", from what I've searched on the internet. Internet is really 万能! =_=,
The song is about a girl who is in a situation in her life where she is just down.
She got involved in shady things like spending evenings in bars, using alcohol as an emotional barrier.
Because of her instability, she's seen as easy to men, but in reality she's just too tired to stop anything from happening.
She's looking for comfort in any form, and has lost the ability to pick herself up.
Whoever is singing to song and telling her story clearly cares about her and sees her in a different light than the rest of the world.
He knows that she can be, or is, better than the standards she has set for herself.
He wants to save her.
Yea, that's about it! Try listening to the song once more! Listen close to the lyrics.
Does it sounds different now? Yea? Then there must be a problem with your ears.
For me, it still sounds the same but it feels different. =')
Anyway back to what I want to copy from CS blog! ='X

This is what he said:
"I had this thought some time ago, but only managed to recall it today. Which is if you were to be a singer, what kind of life would you lead? To start off this thought, find yourself one singer that you know best about (better, you like his/her songs/face). Now start pondering how the singer first debuted, and then the current status he/she is now. For me i will choose BoA ~Baabaablahs~ Is your singer similar to BoA? ;D Think about it."
What I'll say:
"Nope, my singer is not BoA, i'll choose Coldplay. Not exactly a singer, but a band. Not that I like their song very much. To be honest I've only heard of Viva La Vida from them. Kinda catchy, but that's not the reason why I chose them. I choose a band instead of a singer, meaning I don't mind being any of the member in the band. The reason I choose this band is because of the history of their formation and how they finally become a successful band at least well known to the most of us. Do you know that for many of the bands, the band members actually got discovered individually and then grouped by some companies or one person started the band and try to look for talents to joined him/her. But Coldplay is different, the members are all friends and classmates! That's what I like about them, they dream the same dream, and work on it together. And along the way, no one left, I guess it's because they are bounded by this strong bond. Not the bond of sharing the same dream, but I believe is the bond, of a everlasting friendship."
Well, that's the kind of band I would want to be in! So if I'll be a singer, I'll be a band!
I'll play the guitar and you'll play the drums! We'll sing together, the song of friendship! =')
But nonetheless this is the reality and without hard work, you cannot become what you have achieved.
And without talent and passion this will not happen. Sad but true.
Hahas! Finally a decent post.
Okays! I'm satisfied and I'll go off now!
