Okay, now I continue with saying anything. World Cup ended with finals, Netherlands VS Spain. Football itself is beautiful. The match, exciting. The result, not so. The referee? Sucks. Maybe I am bias. (I am) But seriously this idiotic English referee Howard Webb (I bother to Google it, because I was really fed up), actually gave 14 bookings, the most-ever for World Cup. Well, if he gave them correctly I have no complaints, but some of them are really unfair. Here's a few:
1. Too many yellow cards. (If 2 yellow cards = 1 goal, and 1 red card = -3 goal, Holland would have still win, okay I know that's nonsense.)
2. Heitinga knocked David Villa down, but Webb let play continue. David Villa lay on the ground as ball continued to be passed. Well after the innitial contact, Webb then issued yellow card to Heitinga. Had it been a proper booking, Webb should have immediately called for a foul and a card should immediately have been pulled, but Webb seemed to have been mulling it over and may have been influenced by the Spanish protests. (I think he really didn't see what happened after all, and if so, no foul should be called up!) ='(
3. Arjen Robben had a late breakaway and was nearly brought down from behind by Carles Puyol but Webb apparently let Robben continue with the advantage. However, enough contact was made that there should have been a call there. The contact led Robben to lose control of the ball after Puyol threw his arms at Robben before hacking wildly at the Bayern Munich man. Robben, though, earned his yellow card for dissent shortly thereafter. (Hate Puyol and his hair.)
4. Andres Iniesta, who will forever be a Spanish hero, resorted to cheap schoolboy tactics. First, Iniesta ran towards the penalty area with the ball at his feet. Heitinga was beaten on the play and put his arm on Iniesta’s shoulders. Iniesta appeared to have let himself fall on the play, unless contact alone was enough to knock Iniesta over. Heitinga was not only called for the foul but was carded and sent off. (Hate Iniesta more than Puyol. Hate his acting more than Puyol's hair.)
5. Then, Iniesta fell after Gregory van der Wiel lunged at him. Television replays appeared to show no contact at all from van der Wiel but Iniesta hit the ground and Webb not only called the foul but booked van der Wiel. (I hate the referee more than anyone who have appeared in any match I've watch so far!)
Forget it, complaining won't work, so why bother. Some win, some lose. Someone have to be 2nd and unfortunately, it's Netherlands. I would love to see them win the cup! If can have one wish come true. I wish Iniesta didn't score that goal. Everything would have been different, prolly a more exciting match with more beautiful results! Okay, that's stupid. Who's gonna give me that wish? Also wishes never work on me! Hahas! Whatever the case, don't be sad, I still like you holland! All the best for upcoming matches! =')
At least this world cup event made me like football! Which is great, more manly! Also make me like Argen Robben! Which is gay, no no no no no! Okay, enough of football, this is not a football blog! Anyway thanks KL and JUL for coming to my house that day to watch football together (Althought JUL only watch the first 5mins)! That's really cool. Although I'm quite disappointed at the end. Uncool! Going to school together is really great too! If I have 2 brothers and we have to go to school together everyday, then I think I'll be late everyday! Hahas! Anyway and because of all of that, the best picture of the decade is possible! And it is polaroid! COOL! I'll name it, FIFA World Cup 2010! (Do people name their photos?) Here it is anyway:
Due to my lousy webcam, it have kinda become the worst picture of the decade. (Okay, maybe not that bad) Anyway, I'm wearing a very old netherlands jersey. That thing on the right is my pet fan morries. And I am trying to cover my face. I know it is obvious, but the reason is not. It's because my pet keep blowing my hair in the other direction and it makes it very messy, so I don't want to show it. To be able to capture so many things in one lousy webcam, it takes skill. So I hope you appriciate it, and at least take a look at it once in a lifetime. Hmm... Is that correct?
